You have a general certificate of secondary education and are interested in the fascinating world of airfreight? In the two and a half years of our apprenticeship for Businessperson for Forwarding and Logistic Services you will get to know the operative sector, the distribution and the commercial segments of Lufthansa Cargo, and participate in special training. In short deployments, we will also give you the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the Global Partners of Lufthansa Cargo. You will finish your apprenticeship with an examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Trainee Programme “StartCargo”
You are a business economics or an industrial engineering graduate with first practical experience in logistics? With StartCargo, we developed the matching “Logistic Graduate Program” for junior staff in operative key positions.
Among other things, the training includes deployments and projects at our freight hubs in Frankfurt, in distribution and abroad. At the beginning, you will be given a comprehensive introduction into the structure, strategy, products, customers and processes of Lufthansa Cargo. StartCargo enables you to gain international experience and build up a network, and prepares you for responsible duties in the operative field of logistics and distribution. The program is modular and takes 12 to 18 months, depending on the previous work experience and development.
The next trainee program will start in January 2009.
